Clematis means Climbing plant’s , Elegant with various colours.

The leaves are food for caterpillars.

Clematis species are mainly found throughout the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere, rarely in the tropics. 

The seeds and leaves of the Clematis ligusticifolia, also called pepper vine, were once used as a  pepper substitute.

The name “Clematis” came from the Greek word “Klematis,” meaning vine.
