




Victoria amazonica is the world’s largest water lily.
This species is native to Brazil. It is the National flower of Guyana.
Leaves are really strong and can easily hold the weight of a small human (up to about 65 pounds).
Water lilies have proven especially effective in absorbing heavy metals from the water.They are very good at absorbing pollutants.They will also oxygenate the water.
