In the weeks before Christmas, there are Christmas markets every day in Oslo.

Christmas presents and decorations, and traditional food and drinks are available in Christmas market.

New light sculpture near Aker Brygge-

The Oslo Tree is the name of the 14m high and 12m wide light sculpture, which will be in Filipstad, just behind Aker Brygge. The tree’s made with 125.000 LED-lights. 

The tree is a creation of artist Alexander Green, The installation has been adapted to the Norwegian climate by Green’s workshop and can now withstand rain, snow and cold weather.
